Today, we got off to a running start. We sanded rusty pipes for a trampoline and swing set that were donated to the church, we painted those same pipes with rust protection, continued the construction of the church, and began the electrical work.
Last night, Pastor Minor charged us with “seeing with God’s eyes.” He told us the place we are serving at is new and looks barren like a desert. We are to see it with God’s eyes and help create a gateway to Heaven.
Pastor Minor would like to thank our church for all the effort and time given to Costa Rica. He told us the church in Siripique has grown from a barren land then to 1 church that we helped grow. It is now 6 churches in the surrounding area.
Today, Pastor Allen lead a morning devotion before we began our day as mention above. His devotion focused on Galatians 6:10, “So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.” He continued by expressing his gratitude for our church to come and help. He shared that we are 2 churches that become 1.
To be noted, the internet is not up and working as of current.
As always, prayers for safety and God’s will to be done are appreciated.
