  • Youth Sunday Night Program

    Each Sunday night, we meet from 5 - 6:30 pm, usually in the gym along with fellowship time from 4:30 pm - 5 pm.  During Youth Sunday Night, we have a discussion-based devotional, games, and other varying activities.  The goal of this program is to create an environment that invites the kids to ask questions and talk through important topics regarding their faith-walk with Christ. Come join us to check out what we're about! 6th-12th grade are invited to come and bring a friend! We kick off for the 2016-17 youth season on August 21st from 5 - 6:30 pm, check us out!
  • High School Girls Bible Study

    This Bible study is for 9th-12th grade high school students and is the last Monday night from 6:30 pm - 8 pm.  Each family has the opportunity to host throughout the year and it is a great time for deepening faith and friendships. Contact Rachael Danforth for more information.
  • Youth Trips

    Middle School Bethelwoods Retreat Nov. 4 - 6, 2016

    This trip is held at the Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center in York, SC.  The kids get to experience a weekend out in the woods that is filled with worship, small group discussions to deepen faith and community, and fellowship through free time and games.  This is a wonderful trip that the kids enjoy and benefit spiritually from each year. Registration for this trip opens on August 21, 2016, so please come then to register for this trip!

    Faith in 3D Winter Trip Jan. 13 - 15, 2017 

    This is a spiritual retreat held at Disney World, yes you read that correctly! Spiritual study and fun at Disney World? Who wouldn't want to go?? Both Middle School and High School ages are invited on this trip. Initial registration will be on August 21, 2016, so please come then to register for this trip!

    High School Bethelwoods Retreat Feb. 10 - 12, 2017

    This trip is held at the Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center in York, SC. The kids get to experience a weekend out in the woods that is filled with worship, small group discussions to deepen faith and community, and fellowship through free time and games. This is a wonderful trip that the kids enjoy and benefit spiritually from each year! Pre-registration will open on August 21, 2016, so please come then to register for this trip!

    Middle School Mission to CROSS June 4 - 9, 2017

    This mission trip is a 5-day long trip to Charlotte, NC and is hosted by Myers Park Presbyterian Church.  This trip is yearly and focuses on helping people who are experiencing poverty and/or homelessness.  This trip shows the kids how to be a helping hand in ministry outreach programs and is paired with worship each morning and evening along with devotionals each night for the kids' spiritual growth.  This trip is one that is treasured by our middle schoolers. Registration for this trip will open in January, but mark the dates on your calendar!

    High School Mission Trip in June, 2017

    The high school mission trip has in the past involved a different trip each year. This year's trip will be decided on August 21, 2016, at the kickoff night from 5-6:30pm. Please come to that for more information and to be a part of the decision process.

    High School Montreat Conference (Wk III) July 8-15, 2017

    This is an annual trip for our high schoolers and they talk about this conference all year long. They love this trip for many reasons, but to list just a few: they love the community created at Montreat during this week, seeing friends from previous years, and learning about their faith through worship and small groups. Registration opens on August 21, 2016, so please come to the kickoff for this registration!

    Middle School Montreat Conference July 19-23, 2017

    This is an annual conference for our middle schoolers and it is geared toward personal spiritual growth, furthering community, and making new friends.  This conference is held at Maryville College in Maryville, TN.  This trip involves key-notes, worship, small group discussion to deepen faith, back home devotional time, and games to further community. Registration opens on August 21, 2016, so please come to the kickoff for this registration.
  • Youth Events

    Ice Cream fellowship for each grade!

    This year, we will be having fellowship time at Ye Ole Fashion throughout the year. These dates are varied throughout the year. Please contact Rachael Danforth for more information.

    Live Nativity December 18 and 24th at 6:30 pm

    Each year, our youth presents to the community the story of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus that goes along with the Christmas season.  This is a free community event and can be very moving to watch. This event usually lasts about thirty minutes and our youth work incredibly hard to make this a special time of worship. We hope to see you there!

    Youth Christmas Party and HS Christmas Lock-in

    Each year, we have time for a celebration of Christmas as a youth group. We have a devotional, play games, and enjoy fellowship with each other. More information to come!

    Youth Sunday March 19, 2017 (8.45 am & 11.15 am services)

    Youth Sunday March 19, 2017 (8.45 am & 11.15 am services). Each year, our youth have the opportunity to lead a worship service.  This is a wonderful time for the youth to show leadership through sharing their knowledge and spiritual experiences. More information to come!

    Beach Trips in the summer

    Each summer, we have several beach trips as a youth group that build community and are fun! More information to come!

    Each semester, we will have a mission project as a youth group.  Please stay posted for more information!
  • Youth Fundraisers

    HAUNTED HOUSE October 14 - 15, 2016 from 7 pm - 11 pm

    Admission for this haunted house is $5.  This haunted house was compared to Boone Hall last year for its quality and is well worth your time and money! Please come join in the spooky fun!

    Chili Cookoff December 4, 2016 from 5 pm  - 7:30 pm

    The chili cook-off pairs with our children's' Christmas play and is a wonderful treat each year.  All of the chili is cooked by those who entered the contest. The prize is an apron that is monogrammed and has been enjoyed by our congregation each year. More information coming soon!

    Flowertown Festival Parking Fundraiser

    The date on this fundraiser is TBA, but we have parking at our church through the festival that is conveniently located directly behind Main Street. We also offer parking for vendors! More information coming soon!
      All of the fundraisers that the youth hold goes to fund the youth program. These fundraisers make all the things that we do possible. Thank you to all who have given in the past and we look forward to this upcoming youth season!
